Life at Cambridge Seminars
Cambridge Seminars has a relaxed informal atmosphere where students are treated as adults. Typically, students are required to attend between 16-20 classroom hours per working week (Monday to Friday). The college lays strong emphasis on attendance and expects each student to ensure they attend each timetabled class. Failure to attend classes will have an immediate and detrimental affect on the students' programme. All classes are supervised and you will be expected to complete all homework and coursework assignments that are given. Attendance in class is considered part of the final assessment for many of our programmes.
The college is happy to arrange sports activities where there is student demand. As an example, the college has a football team and training sessions are organised usually in the evening. Students are encouraged to take part in local activities. When students visit their friends or relatives at weekends, they must inform the host family and preferably also the college.
The college does not have a uniform and students dress casually.
