General Certificate of Secondary Education

GCSE Programme is offered to students who have not been able to complete their schooling either within the UK or overseas. Typically, students will take a minimum of five subjects that relate to their future career aspirations. These subjects are normally studied over one academic year.

GCSEs are also suited for those students who are academically very bright and require good preparation prior to proceeding with A-level study. Mathematics and English are compulsory subjects for studying at this level. All UK universities require that students must have at least a grade ‘C ‘at GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English. If students do not have this minimum requirement, then the college provides the option to study GCSE Mathematics alongside their Foundation or A-level programmes. English is covered through the teaching of IELTS programme which is better suited for international students and is a good alternative to GCSE English.
