University Foundation Programmes

The University Foundation Programme (UFP) is an intensive course that provides access to a wide range of universities in the United Kingdom. It has been introduced as an alternative to the conventional A-Level route, which takes two years to complete. Our University Foundation Programmes, which have been established for over a decade prepare students for a specific course at university and provide the necessary skills for success at degree level. They are fast-track programmes that have been designed in consultation with some of the UK’s top universities. Students are provided both with specific knowledge of subjects related to the degree course they wish to study and with essential study skills.

Gain Entry to UK Universities in Less than 1 Year

Our University Foundation Programme is an academic course with an English Language component. It is well established and very popular for entry into the top UK universities and forms an alternative route into UK universities for International students. Most of the subject teaching is based on A-level specifications and each course is tailored to a specific career route. Students gain university entrance in less than one year. The students are assessed by a combination of  homework, coursework, examinations and classroom attendance.

We have an excellent track record for securing university places for our students and the programme is accepted by most of the leading UK universities.

The ADVANTAGES of our University Foundation Programme:

  • Cambridge Seminars UFP has two start dates each year: September and January
  • All applications to universities are made through the UCAS application system. We provide full support and guidance throughout the application process and help our students to select the universities and courses most suited to their backgrounds and aspirations.
  • The students can choose from over 40 partner UK universities and this number is continually being expanded.
  • English language support forms part of the programme which ensures that our students develop their English language skills and are able to sit the IELTS test, should it be necessary.
  • The programme is modular with generally five subjects for study. Where students do not have the required level of Mathematics,  GCSE Mathematics is offered as an additional subject to ensure university placement.
