Cambridge is a very peaceful town that has a pleasant atmosphere and provides a good environment for students. It is a very convenient place to live with good bus links and cycle routes and friendly residents who are used to living alongside a large number of international and UK students. The town centre is only a five minute cycle ride or a ten minute walk away from the college. There is a wide variety of shops that cater for residents and two shopping centers, the Grafton Center and the Lion Yard. In Cambridge, there are also plenty of venues for entertainment such as two multi screen cinemas, the Art cinema, theatres, a bowling alley, restaurants, bars and night clubs to suit all tastes.
Cambridge is also quite a safe town with a low crime rate. There are people who practice many different religions in Cambridge and there are facilities and communities for followers of most religions such as Catholic, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist churches, synagogues and mosques.
